Shop Rides

  • Tuesday and Thursday Night A&B Road Rides – Daylight Savings Time (till Oct)
    • The ride starts at 6:20 PM sharp and finishes when we get back to the shop (based on available daylight).
    • There are three different skill categories:
      • A ride – averages 21 to 24 mph.  Currently in hiatus.
      • B ride – averages 18 to 21 mph. 30-45 miles.
    • This ride is for more experienced and skilled riders.  Please let the group know if you are new to ride so they can provide information on riding with the group.
    • Check out the route on Strava. Please note the route may sometimes change due to weather and available daylight.
  • Wednesday Night C Road Ride – Daylight Savings Time
    • Join rider leader Allan Mueller at 6 PM at Cedar Bluff Cycles for rider meet and greet (shop is open until 7 if you need any snacks or supplies) and the ride will roll out promptly at 6:30 PM.
    • IMPORTANT DETAILS:
      • Ride distance is 22 to 28 miles depending on route
      • Average speed is 14 to 18 MPH
      • No-drop ride
      • Make sure you have plenty of water
      • Bring lights for your bicycle to ensure that you are more visible to vehicles for safety (daytime running lights)
      • Make sure your bicycle is in good working condition before the ride
      • Spare tubes, CO2 or pump, water bottles, energy snacks, etc. are suggested
  • Tuesday Night No-Drop Mountain Bike Rides – All Year
    • Join Alex, Allan and Lisa for this weekly ride. It is designed to be a fun social MTB ride. Depending on the number of people and skill levels we may split into multiple groups.
    • Plan to be on the trails for up to 2 hours (don’t forget your hydration!).
    • Don’t forget your headlights in fall and winter months (at least two recommended.)
    • Invite your friends!
  • Tuesday and Thursday Night Greenway Rides – Winter (Call or check on Facebook in advance)
    • The ride starts at 6:30 PM sharp and finishes when we get back to the shop.
    • The ride leaves from the shop and heads downtown on the Knoxville greenway starting at the movie theater behind Lowes. The full route changes weekly and can be adapted based on the riders.
    • Please come with both headlight and taillights charged, and dressed appropriately for the weather/temperature.
  • Trek Women’s Advocate – Lisa Mueller’s Rides
    • Lisa offers a variety of no drop rides for women at all skill levels and riding genres
